/ chara and frisk go by female pronouns in this, please no hate !! also, in storyshift chara takes on the roll of sans and asriel takes on the roll of papyrus. uwu
Chara sat at her station, lazily pushing little ketchup packets around. She sighed, thinking of her brother, Asriel. He'd been quite down lately... was she not enough? Chara always thought less of herself and thought all monsters would snap and turn on her. Asriel had always reminded her, "No, Chara! You're amazing! Maybe not as amazing as me, but you know!!!"
Shaking off the thought, Chara suddenly heard the gentle crushing of snow along the path nearest to a purple door. She gasped lightly, wondering who it would be. Maybe that skeleton dude..? Nah. He told her that he wouldn't be coming out any time soon. Chara teleported behind a tree and spotted a figure moving towards the bridge with the large gate-thingy Rei had made to stop humans or anyone else. Obviously, it was wide. Really wide.
Following the figure slowly, she pulled out some extra packets. Heheh, maybe it's time for some good ol' ketchup packet tricks. As the human stopped for a moment, she gasped and silently teleported away. They turned around quickly, their figure still dark and shadowed. Chara wasn't sure who or what that... thing, was. She then teleported quickly and silently back to where she once stood, and continued to follow the figure. The figure had stopped in front of the bridge, obviously flinching at the loud crunching of snow coming from Chara. Chara was also a shadowed figure. Once close enough, she was able to realize it was... another human! Ah, finally. Now she can no longer be alone, on her own playing or "fighting" with Asriel.
"Human," she started in a low, ominous voice. "Don't you know how to greet a new friend? Take my hand."
The human turned around, having Chara stick out her thin clothed arm. The human grabbed her mitt-covered hand. Suddenly...
Sqquurch!
Some droplets of ketchup were on the snow between the two humans. Chara chuckled at the trick and how oblivious the other human was too it. Naive humans, she thought to herself. "Hahah, whoever threw out those ketchup packets were missing out BIG TIME," she thought aloud. "Greetings the- ..."
Chara stared at the human. They looked so similar to her... obviously female as well. Chara gasped lightly again, but then smiled and blinked. "...well, hello there, pretty mirror," she greeted. "How'd you fall down here without getting a mark on you...? Good thing, it'd be a shame to see someone like YOU get hurt."
The human giggled, as if she thought it was a flirt. Chara then blushed a little, more than usual. (Since her cheeks are a cute shade of pink half the time, y'know?) "My name's Chara," she stuttered at the beginning, but then the introduction came out more clearly near the end. "I'm a human, too. Aha... I know, I'll let that sink in for a moment. Shocking, right?" The smaller human nodded a little, but then bounced. "I-I'm Frisk..!" she squeaked. Chara felt her chest still for a moment. The voice.. it was too cute. A shy, soft little voice like that humans' surely means she's merciful. Or just doesn't talk a lot. But so far, she's seemed joyful. "Frisk..." Chara echoed softly. "That's a nice name, heh."
"Thank you! Your name is pretty too!"
Okay.
Maybe this little human ISN'T very shy. Could be just her voice.
Chara giggled nervously, taking a deep yet silent breath. "Eheh... anyways, uh.." she snapped her fingers, remembering what to say. "Ah! Yeah, so... there's more than one hole in this mountain. I probably fell from a different one you fell from, anyway.. But yeah, uh.. Listen: I've been waging war with my brother, Asriel. Humans and monsters can be tipped in my part. Come on, you'll be great at it!" Awkwardly taking Frisk's hand, they both walked swiftly through the wide gate thingy. Chara pointed at a tacky looking lamp, and Frisk acknowledged it. "Quick!" she whispered, "Behind that tacky lamp! I have to set up a scene for your entrance for him."
Frisk quickly ran behind the tacky lamp. A moment later, Asriel ran over, about 10 or 16 feet away from Chara... well, who knows? I can't do math. Neither can Chara.
"THERE YOU ARE, HUMAN!!!" Asriel pointed in a dramatic position, right at Chara. "Pcch.. you've cornered me again," Chara snickered. "You're getting more and more clever everyday, Rei." Asriel stomped his feet on the ground. "CHARA! I told you not to call me that!" he complained. "Anyways, what are you doing? I'm supposed to be with the Captain right now, y'know??!"
Chara let out a "uhh.." for a long moment. "You know, Asriel..." she said. "You don't have to call our mom 'Captain.'"
"I DO IF I WANNA GET IN THE ROYAL GUARD, SILLY!" Asriel laughed. ("Ura ha ha!!!" is his laugh. Cute, huh?) He then stopped and stammered. "Uhhh.. you.. ARE, alone, right?.."
"Hey, partner! Come on out!" Chara glanced over to the tacky lamp, calling out to Frisk. She jumped out, grinning. Asriel widened his eyes in shock. "Wh.. WHAT?" he exclaimed. "HOW???!! THERE'S TWO OF YOU NOW???"
"Alone no longer," Chara announced, letting out a snort. Frisk hummed in amusement, giving a thumbs up randomly. "UGH!" Asriel turned his back on both of them, but then turned and glared at Frisk, pointing and his eyes blazing. "HUMAN! I will set up some games for you... and Chara can NOT help you! I'll be seeing you both... soon." He then proceeded to scamper off. Chara turned to Frisk, but not making any eye contact. "That went well," she commented. "And don't worry. Rei is pretty nice. I'll be there to help you, though. I know all his tricks!"
Frisk nodded, happily walking off. Before she could reach the next area, Chara stopped her. "Ah, hold on there, Frisk.." she murmured. "I hate requesting things, but... see, Asriel's been kinda down lately. And having you impress him and following along on his opinions would really make his day. Can you do that for me?"
Frisk gazed at Chara. "Yes!" she chirped quietly. "Don't worry, Chara. I can make anyone happy! With my mercy!"
"Haha, thanks Frisk.." she blinked warmly. "I'll be up ahead."
"Got it!"

Frisk was already on the last game or puzzle thing Asriel had made. Chara left random notes here and there that helped Frisk do the puzzles a little quicker. She failed a couple times at this last one, honestly. Having to safely turn all the X'S into O's or something.
Every time she fell, she landed in a caved-in kind of room. There was a snow Asriel and a lump of snow with "CHARA" on it in red marker. Chara was really nice. Frisk never expected to meet another human down here, and having bad memories with other humans above...
Finally finishing the puzzle, Frisk chanted a single and quiet, "YES!" under her breath. Walking through an icy platform with thick, long vines at the sides, she had exited that area and felt a figure made out of snow on her head. Then it simply and quickly fell off, and she shrugged and continued walking ahead.
Frisk saw a long bridge a sort-of crossroads or something. On the cliff was a huge land of trees and snow below. Frisk shuddered, gulping and feeling a little dread. It was pretty obvious she had a horrible phobia of heights, and a bit of her vision was bad. Pulling her eyes away from the edge of the cliff, she went back and quickly yet cautiously walked across the bridge, only to stop and see Chara and Asriel.
"Halt, human!!" Asriel said. He then let out an "AHEM!" since he had said that a moment after Frisk had stopped. Chara snorted quietly and Frisk shrugged in amusement. "Shut up, Chara!!!" Asriel hissed. He then turned back to the human. "ANYWAYS, as I was saying...! This is the final... 'trap.' I will flip a switch and then weapons will swing and fire will blaze and all that cool stuff! Are you ready?? ARE YOU READY?! BECAUSE I AM GOING TO DO IT!!!"
...
"Uh.." Chara snickered. "Well?"
"Well what?" Asriel narrowed his eyes. "I'm... I'm about to activate it now!!"
...
"I don't know about you, Rei, but that doesn't look like 'activating' to me."
Asriel grunted loudly. "Whatever! Let's ignore this one... it was a little dumb anyway."
It was silent for a moment and Frisk raised an eyebrow at him, tilting her head. "What?" Asriel said after turning to face her. "Stop giving me that look! Save it for whenever...!" He then ran away into what looked like a fairly distant town. Frisk went up to Chara right away without hesitation.
"What?" Chara smirked curiously. "Oh, yeah. Sorry. He's really having fun, honestly. He's just a little too competitive, that's all."
It was silent for a moment, and Chara looked a little nervous. She then stumbled on some words. "S-so, um, if you want later we can go t-"
Woompf!
Frisk hugged Chara out of nowhere. Chara gasped a little, but after a while she returned the warm and gentle hug. "Partner, why're you hugging me? You have a journey to-"
"Thank you," Frisk cut her off. She smiled warmly. "Thank you, Chara. You've been a really great help to me and everything.. and you're my first friend who's a human, too.. thanks again."
Chara stared at her for a moment, but then shrugged. "Heh, it's no problem. Guess I'm just good with friendships now somehow." Frisk giggled and then let go, running off. "Well, I'll see you later!!! Bye-bye, Chara!"
"H-heh, bye Frisk.." Chara waved, and when she was out of sight, the hoodied girl pulled on her hood and then covered her face with her arms. She squealed for a long moment to herself, blushing madly.

Valentine's Day One-Shot Intro(Undertale x Reader)
It had been about six months since monsters came to the surface. They had integrated into society quite nicely. There were still a few problems, (such as monsters hating buses because they couldn’t all quite fit), but for the most part everything was good.
However, the monsters still didn’t understand a lot of the basic aspects of humanity. They didn’t understand why it was so important to brush your teeth, or why people scared themselves for enjoyment.
But the thing that they didn’t understand at all were all of the different holidays. Their naivety amused you however, and you were beyond excited for one

Undertale - Don't Think About Her [Chapter 23]
- This is the half of the fanfiction that gets more Sans x Frisk based. It won't be ALL about that. It'll be about the story too.
- There obviously will still be genocide and pacifist run spoilers.
Now that you know all that, it should be fine to proceed. c:
"i think they're making progress" Sans said proudly, as he Frisk and Papyrus were sitting at the bar, inside Grillby's. It had been a couple of days since Asgore and Toriel's night out, and it seemed the two were already starting to get on a little better.
Frisk smiled over her shoulder, seeing Toriel and Asgore, sitting at one of the tables with Flowey sitting on top of the table. A

“A good friend of mine lives in Waterfall… Want to check if he’s still there?” Frisk asked as they walked.
“I don’t see why not…” Asriel replied.
They walked through Waterfall, listening to all the Echo Flowers as they walked. They eventually reached the Blook Family Snail Farm.
“Undyne used to live here, but there was, uh… an ‘accident.’” Frisk said with a nervous chuckle. “But Blook still lives here …probably... and he’s a nice guy. Let’s--”
“Oh, who do we have here?” Mettaton interrupted. R
